He's good at the blame game and pretty good at telling people what they WANT to hear, is our Rafa.  :)

As i said, he's his own worst enemy. He showed it by cracking up during his champions league press conference a while back and his team hasn't recovered since.

I think t@sser is the word we're looking for here. Ever since the press conference against the mancs he's been a t@sser. Here and over in Italy and some of you lot want him back? tut tut

I don't think NESV could work with him I don't think Rafa could work within the NESV environment. I'd be amazed if they went for him, and literally stunned to see it work.

It's a good point. Lots in journalistic circles think the same. Benitez would want too much control. NESV's way of work is to delegate functions across lots of roles not just one man.

Well it'll be good if Inter sacked Rafa... it's their lost... at least there is a possibility that Rafa might come back...

Skys Italian pundit has just been on and he says that while his outburst has probably guaranteed his departure the vast majority of the Inter fans are behind Rafa, noting that while Moratti has backed his last two managers in signing the players they wanted he hasnt done that for Benitez and that the loss of players form and injuries is attributed to not strengthening and having a core group of 14-15 players playing non stop for the last 18 months through all their competitions and the World Cup (Though I dont think the Brazilians and Italians have much to complain about on the last one :D  )

Also it seems the fans arnt overly keen on the two guys that are in the running to replace him, Luciano Spalletti (Current Zenit St Petersburg and ex Roma manager) and Leonardo - who had an absolute 'mare at Milan last season. They want to give him cash and a run to the end of the season. Gotta say that someone earier on this thread said that Inter fans had no class, well they certainly seem to have alot more patience than some posters on here :p

Maybe they might sack him cos the inter fans don't like him?  The same fans that pelted Roy hodgson with Missiles after they got beat in the final of a European competition.

So yes, i don't think they have much class.

What the club world cup championship against a very very poor african team?

Why do they need to strengthen? its the same squad that won the treble last season, and not many teams in the Seria A even improved.

Then again, we sound like hypocrites because we are calling Inter fans classless and should give Benitez time, while we are calling for the manager's head in our own club and doesn't deserve to be given any chance what so ever.

bunch of hypocrites, just got really tired of this.

What a load of wan.k mate. Firstly they already had last season a very old squad, old and injury prone. And they sold Balotelli. And you say other teams haven't strengthened that much? Have you even looked at Juve or Milan? Milan's front line is completely revamped.

I'm tired also. Tired of seeing us drop points in the same manner week after week, tired of seeing Roy make a fool of himself and the club every time he opens his mouth, but most of all tired of seeing those who sought to oust Rafa last season get on his back so much this season when they should just fess up it was the wrong move to get rid of him.

Well I'm sure Inter's fans are even more sick of being 13 points behind AC Milan after having breezed to a treble last season. Inter may have an aging squad but so do Manure to a large extent but they seem to be doing ok.
When are people goign to realise that Rafa has a massive ego and is totally over rated as a manager, how many other failures does he need to have?
This latest rant is oh so familiar it's the poor me :censored: that really wound me up when he was at LFC, the constant running to the press to wash all the linen in public act which is most definitely NOT the Liverpool way. I say good riddance to bad rubbish and although I'm not Hodgson's biggest fan I am glad we have him instead of Rafa.

Or a manager more familiar with winning major trophies maybe?...that could also be a very valid point in explaining  why the Italians are a lot more patient .... or I could just be making excuses in keeping with the popular trend on this forum of late

I will here and now guarantee you that the next manager of Inter will have them up and competing for the Serie A title within a month of his appointment so I don't think it will be treated as a big loss by them.
When people look at the utter cr@p we have in LFC's squad don't they wonder who it was who signed all of them, but still he gets eulogised to the heavens by some people.
