You can do DD - away you go and start one - I'm appreciative of his work and trophies that he brought to the club .

No need to "start" one, just take a thread which has got absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with an "appreciation" of Gerard Houllier, change the name of it after 64 pages, and bingo!

nah he never 'got' us  :D

  :D He did "get us" quite a few trophies though, and left us with a team of which nine players won the Champions League too. Get Reg to mention it, it'll happen .

I'm sure DD it won't be long until the same certain people invade it with the same stuff about last season and 7th place . No doubt he would also get all the plaudits for the CL win as well .

Just out of interest Reg, if you wanted a "Rafa appreciation thread"   (that is the classic of classics on this forum is that) why didn't you just start one  ??? .

I'm not sure I see the point in the changing the purpose of the thread when for 64 pages it has been a place to discuss all aspects of the previous manager. Those who are less than appreciative of him will continue to voice their opinions, either in here - if they are creative enough - or in the serie "A" thread. It will not stop any perceived bickering.

it appears the usual suspects have decided to continue to disrupt any attempts at bringing some harmony to areas of the forum...

I just want to say in light of the new name of this thread that I appreciate everything Rafa done for this club. My dream is that one day he will return and put this club back on top of the league where it belongs!  :buttrock  :buttrock
