It was a good match.

I still fancy Milan to do Man U over at the San Siro.

Had a quick look through the thread for a comment from Stu. didn't see one. He said in another thread the the ideal score for an away game in the champions league was losing 2-3.

So Stu does that mean job well done for AC Milan?

Well, I don't know if losing 2-3 is the ideal score for an away game in CL, but it is actually not bad to Milan, though. A 1-0 at San Siro will be enough to send Man utd home and that will not be too difficult for Kaka. :p

By the way, what happened between Kaka and Giggs causing the yellow cards to them? I didn't get any clue when watching the game on TV. When the camera turned to them, the referee was showing them cards. But for what? Has any one seen the cause?

The first and last goals were flukes - simple as.

Dida should have saved fat f*cker's shot, but obviously wasn't awake, as an asthmatic granny could have stopped it. :no

As for Tyldesley's pant-wetting episode over Scholes' flick - get to f*ck you spanner. It was something any footballer worth his salt could have done. :no Dida could have done better with the save, too.

Poxy w*nkers.

Man Ure will not win the Champions League, I am not saying we will its just they wont.

That first goal was :censored: by manu, just alot of luck. Milan still got 2 away goals, they are still on track to make a good run in Milan. Scholes played a horrible game though, and hoping ferdinand and vidic do make it back next week. Theirs always the second leg. :;):

???

scholes played well, his pass for the 2nd manc goal was sublime!

I dont know, from the game I was watching he played like :censored: wasnt effective for almost all of the game.

Dida was far too easily beaten yesterday IMO.

The ITV commentary was ridiculous. ITV should realise that they supposed to be describing the action, not cheerleading for the home team and harking back to a cup victory that happened seven years ago.

I have never seen a keeper so out of position as Dida was for Rooneys second goal. Useless!

Saying that if Milan win the second leg can you see Man Utd scoring twice at the San Siro?

Don't get me started on that. I thought I was watching the game on MUTV it was so one sided.

FWIW, I thought Milan were coping well until Gattuso went off, 3-2 isn't the worst result. Gattuso was breaking most things the mancs were throwing and you could see the frustration and i fully expected Milan to go on and win 1-3. Gattuso went off and Scholes and Carrick started having far more joy in midfield.

Fair dos to the mancs for keeping going and i fully expect them to score in Milan but them 2 away goals for Milan could prove vital.

Just how sh#te is Gilardinho, i know Inzaghi is w@nk but f#cking hell he looks like Gerd Muller compared to Gilardinho.

Also, what the hell was the Milan physio doing in a full suit and football boots? It was ridiculous. :D

Aye I was thinking the same thing about that Gilardinho guy. He reminds me of that Portugal striker, who plods about and does fcu.k all (Pauleta )
2-3 isnt a bad result for Milan, and if the San Siro is still a fortress and as intimidating as ever , then Man U have there work cut out. But when you step in as much shi.te as the scum do, then ya always have a decent chance.

Depends what Milan's crowd is like. They know they have to go and beat United at home. 1-0, 2-1 at least...

I can't really see United scoring twice out there... maybe I'm wrong, who knows?

I think both managers will be preety happy with the result. All of man u goals could have been defended better and Milan will fancy themselves on there own pitch to score at least 1 still a even game in my eyes.

Maybe they could have defended better, but we had three of our main defenders (G.Neville, Ferdinand and Vidic) injured, so it was always going to be a struggle, especially against Kaka.

The luck of UTD again...Cant deny the 3 goals were good.

But only against the Scum would any team loose their most important defender and most important M/F.

In the 1st half Gattuso made them look like amateurs..fought for every ball like his life depended on it.
Nothing was getting past him..what a player!

You have not qualified yet t.ithead......The San Siro will be a different kettle of fish
