Don't be surprised if it takes the lad a wee while to settle tonight. I envy the lad walking out at Anfield in front of our crowd for the first time and hope he doesn't get overawed by it all.

it'll take him until the first time he gets the ball and dances around the stoke midfield, then he'll chip the ball up and do keepy ups past 2 defenders, a quick cruyf turn will leave him one on one with the Stoke goalie who comes rushing out, but it's too late cos Suarez will of already flicked the ball over him into the top right corner - runs to the kop with his shirt over his head...

thats when we'll know he's settled in ok.

Swapping to 50mb broadband and my old ones been cancelled, new one hasnt been activated

Hence it means either a) I stream with my phone connected or b)i find a dodgy pub with the german channels with footy on for free

But i dont know of any of those pubs round here, could drive to Scunthorpe i suppose!

for Luis Suarez to do his best work he have to get the ball into the box, its something we have found very hard to do in the last year.

haha - just read somewhere that suarez is about to undergo andy gray's (:angry: ) ultimate test of a foreign footballer. being able to do it on a cold wednesday night against stoke.

i thought his footwork and speed of thought were excellent, although his execution was a little lacking at times. his shot was woefully underhit and so were a couple of passes, though maybe its possible to put that down to just a little rustiness and a bit of nerves. its obvious he's a very talented and clever player though and seems to be bursting with energy. i think he's going to do well for us.
