Even though he is a Chelsea player I have to admit he was superb last night - never seen him playing like that in the Premiership - hopefully last nights form doesn't carry on into next seasons PL.

How long do you think it will be until we see the first African winners of the World Cup as I have been pretty inpressed so far with their performances in attack but defense is a bit shaky.

will be a bit longer yet. theyh ave looked good, but nothing compared to the top world teams i have o say.

Essien was solid again today as was Appia (spelling?). Ghana might just sneak into the last 16 if they can maintain this form against the US.

That win along with the 9 man USA side getting a point against the Italians certainly has set up an intriguing battle in that group for qualification
