exactly, I dont like Terry but the way this has been handled is a joke. COuld the FA have not held a private hearing and just not released a verdict and stripped him of the captaincy using that but report otherwise? I know thats a longshot but still

And Tubs, I wouldn't want to see our Rafa get involved with that lot, would hurt to see the media calling for his blood like they do every other manager when things go stale

FA on a mission to be the most politically correct institution, so they are looking for a black, overweight, lesbian with red hair and a limp as the next manager!

Sorry but I disagree, half the England squad are black and you cannot have this hanging over the team during  a major tournament, it;s the same as politicians stepping down when they get accused of stuff, they can always come back in once they've cleared their name.

The bottom line though is that Terry is a horrible scumbag who should never have been captain in the first place.

What are you on about? The FA have taken Terry's captaincy. He's not even guilty! (not yet anyway) They have overruled the England manager without a care for the squad, staff, or anything else. Would you stick at your job if your bosses F'd around with you that way? Maybe some would. I wouldn't. And how have they gotten him to resign, thus throwing away any compensation?

Our FA must be the laughing stock of the football world. Hilarious. They're like the worlds worst parents. I can see the next Channel 5 show.

Half of Chelsea's team is black, whats your point? He called Anton a c**t, who gives a fook about the word that preceded it. Even if he is guilty it doesn't represent his feelings on black people in general. The guy's a nob, no doubt about it but let's vindicate him for the right reasons

Capello has had his authority undermined and as a manager that makes his job difficult. He should have played his hand over the captaincy thing a little better tho

What's the big deal?

To me it's no loss...... Should have never appointed him in the first place.

I think he was looking for a reason to walk, he's got most of his money anyway. I'm pretty sure he detested managing England.

He came for the money and he took it. Real Madrid are up for grabs this summer etc.. No great loss for England.

I agree with the way the FA handled the Terry affair excluding Capello from the decision making process, 'Bernstein had deliberately excluded Capello from deliberations over Terry’s role, placing the FA’s wider role as regulator above the short-term interests of the coach.' If Capello doesn't understand that he must be Italian.

So its Arry's big chance but what terrible timing with Spurs looking like a half reasonable team for the first time since Jimmy Greeves. Leave them now and they'll flounder, appoint another England manager and Arry might have lost his chance. For me, Arry will stay with Spurs.

Leaves the door wide open for Woy to demonstrate to the world what a top class - but misunderstood - manager he is!

It's bad timing for him alright Reg. Spurs are having a brilliant season, and they have a lot of superb players - Modric and Bale in particular. But he's wanted this job for years, the Engerland fans want him and the press want him. They heading into a major Championship - I don't think he can turn it down.

he'll juggle that and Spurs til after the Euros, that way he gets to follow on from his successful season at Spurs while having the opportunity to manage England at a major tournament

That's what I was gonna ask, is there any way that he can do both jobs simultaneously? How much work is the England job anyhow? I've never quite understood the full time nature of it to be honest, excuse my ignorance here  :D

So with the captaincy in doubt, you'll see Beckham walk back into the side as a calming influence and he'll guide em through the tournament and see out his international career in the way he wanted.

The most win percentages than any other English managers before him (67%) and won a sh!t load of trophies with clubs.
