I was just wondering what the top excuses will be when England once again fail to deliver for their expectant fans ,here's a selection I believe will get a fierce airing on Twitter.

Why the f*ck didn't he take Lallana ,things would have been so different if we had that type of player available.
You don't win the top prizes with the likes of Welbeck.
We just bottle it as soon as it comes down to penalties.
What the f*ck was Walker doing ? Its no wonder we lost with dickheads like him at the back.
We never stood a chance with Southgate,the mans a clown.
We just need a similar mentality to that of the Germans.
We just need a similar mentality to that of the Brazilians.
We just need a similar mentality to that of the French.
I actually thought we were the better team ,but the quality of Spain's bench won it in the end.

Any I've missed ?

Going into this tournament was always going to be about the young lads gaining that experience and finding their feet on an international stage. It was always about preparation for 2022 :laugh:

To be fair I don't think I can ever remember such a low key buildup to a World Cup, even the southern press don't give them much of a chance. I don't think excuses will be needed, everyone knows that Kane aside, this team lacks genuine quality.

Over rated waste of time they will do squat all.

Not bothered and don't really care. There won't be any of our lads to minitor anyway.

I'll be hoping Salah does miracles with Egpyt.

Watched "Putin's Russia" on bbc1 tonight. It's no fkin surprise this WC has a low key build up. Hosted in a country run by a dictator who imprisons any opposition, bans demonstrations with more than one person, and generally runs the country through the KGB. I reckon the English team is scared shytless going over there..

Just goes to show how corrupt FIFA is mate. Blatter is a dictator himself and a guest of honour at the tournament despite him supposedly banned from anything football. :glare:

I can remember seeing a documentary of the same name a few months back and nothing really surprised me. Well maybe the blatant cheating by the polling officials :laugh:

Making people sign in pencil and then rubbing them out :laugh:

I've just stocked the fridge up with beer for the World Cup, customised for each match. I've got....San Miguel for when Spain is playing because it's Spanish. Becks for when Germany are playing because it's German. Leffe for when Belgium are playing because it's Belgian.....and Carling for when England play because it's Sh1t.
