Liverpool Football Club - Games

We are being bullied all over the place...kinda predictable considering we are playing the youngsters ,Sahin plays like lady parts while Soso and Sterling are just being pushed to the ground. Jones first goal really took the air out of the defense.

So what do we do? Get Sahin out Jonjo in ,get Soso out Assaidi in ,most of all take a deep breath regroup guts up and gerrard ffs we need his leadership.

It makes a mockery of the yellows that have been given out

Agreed. Definitely needs to be on a yellow at the very least at this point.

We look second best to almost every ball.

Jones punch was the turning point in the first half, since then Everton haven't looked back.

Hopefully the manager can re-instill some confidence in our lads with his half time talk.

I still think we've got enough to beat this mob if we can just step up our game.

Glen Johnson is giving Phil Neville all manners of flak on Twitter. It's brilliant.

Wisdom is getting torn a new @rsehole. Brendan seriously needs to do something to help him out at HT. Henderson perhaps could go over there and double up, with Sahin making way. We need a bit more fight in midfield, that Fellani is one dirty c*nt, so to Miralis.

Jones' punch was terrible. Suso and Sterling can't get in the game, they are a bit lightweight too.

Overall, we haven't played that well IMO, Everton have bossed this but we're still in with a chance - just hope the kids can hold up to the pressure and do something down the other end.

Highlight of the half undoubtedly for me was Suarez's dive in front of Gollum.

We started really well, but overall they've been the better club, there's no doubt about that.  We've got some fixing to do or we may be in trouble.  We need to take control over the midfield much better than we have, and we need to stop them attacking down the wings so easily.  Need to get a better hold on Mirallas and Felliani.  Osman's been playing relatively well as well.

Only half-time... doesn't feel like that. Good game though, if you're a neutral. Too bad we aren't.
Could have really used Lucas in a game like this one.

and with 2 goals up, i thought it is going to be easy.
but everton just keep cutting us up like butter.
our midfield is totally over run, n everton close us down fast, basically using our tactic against us. rogers got to address this problem.

We were gifted a 2 goal start in the Derby!
When this happens, the manager MUST look to the squad he's got as he has been handed a get out of jail card.  :rasp
IMO - Henderson should of replaced Sterling once we were 2 up! More muscle out on the right hand flank. That's not to say Sterling has played badly - purely tactical. Unorthodowx? Yes - but that's what is required; sometimes.  :nod
Then, look at the situation again at after 60 min, bring on Downing, if proceedings allowed. Then Shelvey on after 75-80mins.
THE CALVERY - they call it.  :help

Instead we have to start all over again - with an even more wound up Everton.
BR is too intent on his playing philosohpy  :veryangry  - needs to adapt if the team is to move forward in years to come.  :)

I think we need to introduce Jonjo, if he's on the bench?

We're making two substitutions and Everton are making one.

We're playing 3 at the back? A new formation? Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence playing 3 at the back. Man City got torn a new one playing 3 at the back earlier in the week against Ajax.

A complete change of formation. I don't know if this will work... hope Brendan knows what he's doing.

Coates and Shelvey have come on in place of whom? Suso and Sahin?
