What explaining will they have to do? They will have replaced an ineffectual, slow, dimwitted footballer for one who is sharp, lively and capable of scoring goals for us.

Gutted the big man's gone ,and if Dempsey is the replacement Rodgers has in mind then I will be extremely disappointed ....Seriously hoping the reds
have a genuine couple of aces up their respective sleeves ,because if not ,the owners will come out of this transfer window looking a lot more like the
cuntz some fans already believe they are .

devaney:
Sh.it Thommo you talk as if Andy scored every time a ball came in

Thats just being silly devaney. Carroll is a decent player who will score goals wherever he goes.
I wonder if all the knobs who called him a donkey will give him a chance now hes gone?

I don't think we will get toffee for him, when it comes to sell.

Other clubs saw how poor he was in an LFC shirt last season.

Boxscarf, Yes the thought did occur to me.  However since we couldn't find a buyer, I'd just keep the lad for the season.  Unless a rabitt (two actually) can be pulled from the hat we will be remarkably thin up top.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

No doubt some cuntz will be sending the owners more embarrassing emails. Let's face it based on some extremely misguided advice they actually had the balls to cough up a club record £35m in an attempt to bring the glory days back to Anfield. Unfortunately they ended up with Carroll who for fifteen months was fkg awful. Four goals in twenty one league matches and a few decent cup performances has actually got some fans creaming themselves!! If that wasn't bad enough they were also persuaded to part with virtually every penny we got for Torres on Downing,Henderson and Adam ffs. Adam sold to Stoke for about fifty percent of what we paid for him. Henderson rapidly becoming a bench warmer. Downing demoted to left back and you suggest that some supporters (you) think the owners are cuntz. The owners through some fkg awful advice have spent £85m on utter shight. They even succumbed to fan power and gave Kenny the managers job which didn't work out too well.If your looking for somebody to blame then there is absolutely no need to go across the pond !!

Well said Devaney. Glad to see that the owners are the type of people who make swift decisions without showing any sentimentality. Comolli for example, along with Kenny were quickly shown the door as soon as it appeared that they were not good enough. And now with BR's brutal honesty regarding the players, it just shows that playtime is over and if you're not good enough, you're out. FSG and Brendan are doing a very good job getting rid of the players who are clearly out of depth while giving chances to those who deserve it - Sterling and Shelvey. Let's hope Suso gets a look in too this season.

We shouldn't have offloaded Carroll without having a replacement lined up. At the moment, we're short of strikers. I hope something happens in the next 3 and a half hours.

I would never admit this to any blue nose tw@t but last season was the worst Ive ever experienced as a Red. Two things stick out the most to me as terrible mistakes which must never be allowed to happen again:
The first one was the Suarez/evra situation. What was simply an everyday occurance with players kicking one another and calling each other names was then turned into the biggest public demonisation and victimisation of a person I have ever seen in this country. Suarez was on a par to Ian Huntley or Ian Brady due to the media frenzy to vilify and lynch him for a questionable outburst. KK did himself, Suarez and us no favours with the inamous t shirt fiasco and although I never criticised at the time it was clearly like pouring petrol on a fire. I have never witnessed such a vicious attack on ANY football club than what was carried out by the cu'nts from the media on LFC at that time.  KK and his advisors got it totally wrong and made it virtually unbearable for fans and players because of the wrong decisions made during the whole ugly and disgraceful affair
The second one was the Andy Carroll saga. Carroll was not, is not and never will be a £35 million player. Whoever suggested it should have been fu'cked off straight away. To actually go through with the deal was asking for major trouble and if anything showed that KK was out of touch with the modern game this was it. Newcastle must have jizzed in their kecks when LFC actually agreed to part with that much money for an unproven young striker with potential. KK then made it even harder for the lad by not giving him the chance to settle himself and try to justify his fee. But lets be honest, he was never going to justify it no matter what he did. He would have had to have been the new Pele or Maradonna to do that and Carroll is far from that standard. I actually feel sorry for the lad for what he has had to go through and I hope those "supporters" feel ashamed of the stick they gave him while he was here.
These two major incidents made life for the club so hard last season because we were constantly on the back foot getting attacked left right and centre from all angles. If we were in a boxing match the ref would have had to stop it, such was the punishment we were taking.
It is to KK's credit however that we got to two cup finals and won one. If only he would have had faith in Carroll and the balls to play him from the start in the Fa cup final we would have won that as well.
Shoulda, woulda, coulda.
I hope that we, the fans, players, owners and staff learn from our mistakes, although it is a painul and tough lesson we have been taught. But I have every confidence that Rodgers has seen all of this and understands what has to be done.
In Brendan we trust

"Brendan Rodgers has said he would "need to be nutcase" in order to let £35 million striker Andy Carroll leave Liverpool on loan."
But I guess this was said a long time ago...

I was just checking back to see if there was a termination clause mentioned in any of the reports.  Pathetic.
