The fact that he is only here on loan with no option to buy suggests Real still rate him.

a season is a long time and a lot can change, if he likes it in england (and lets face it a lot of players do) and we have a good season he may want to extend his loan or even stay permanently.
madrid may sign other midfielders (like modric) and if he`s getting his game here and playing week in and week out he may think `ah f**k it i`ll stay here, i`d rather be playing every week in the prem than in and out of the side in la liga`.
if we finish in the top 4 and manage to qualify for the CL (fingers crossed) that would help i`m sure.
i`m made up about this, i`ve just got a funny feeling that we are going to go close to winning the league this season (and i`m usually a pessamist)

Winning the league ?

I am always optimistic but cant see that at all.

as i say mate i`m usually a pessamist but i just cant shake the feeling off that we are going to surprise a few people this year.

Have people we lost 3-0 to WBA last week and people are dreaming of 4th and more?  Give me some of that please. We are miles of the pace both on and off the pitch.

I'm a high school freshmen and I recently started from scratch from running this season intended for track. I really hate being last at every battle because I run the 7: 30 and everyone in addition runs around a a few: 50. I know I really should be patient and it takes time becoming a good runner but I really want to improve as quickly as I'll. I hate being the third one and i don't like running so slow and some individuals Chanel Online Shop annoying me. It's like no one knows how Personally i think like because they're all so good. It seems like is familiar with what they wish to accomplish or have a natural talent. I want to find something to help I'm good at however I can't find whatever. I'm on distance along with run the 1600. I want to cut 7 minutes afre the wedding of the season that is like 2 months much more. Do you have virtually any tips or workouts so I will get better? Two ways that will do it for sure. 1. Do interval runs. Run a half lap for a slow speed then run one other Chanel Online Shop half at sprinting rate. Keep going back and forth for just a mile. do two walking laps and also repeat. 2. Run up and lower your schools bleachers. This is huge with regard to Chanel Bags strenght and speed training. Lastly, go to runners world.com and get the magazine and read up on it. It is a great place to keep yourself on target and get the best info out there.Ok my coach was a marathoner and an iron man competetor He hes me run 2 or 3 miles a day for time and i am running 5:34's and last year i was running 6:30's Hey Email me and ill ask my coach 4 you.ok?finish each workout with 10 x 100 "strides" (or "almost" windsprints) ... stay relaxed, yet run at a slightly faster pace than your longer workout pace. The key is being relaxed. Do them on the grass and work on your form and increasing your stride and "turnover" without sprinting. Each week, add 2 more to your set of strides. The rest should be about 20-30 seconds. You'll end up adding 1,000 yards to your workout without beating yourself up, and you'll finish each workout with some speed and technique. Don't worry - your speed will come with strength & experience.

i dont think we`ll win it (not consistent enough) but i think we`ll be there or thereabouts (within 10 points), i honestly dont think the other teams are that good this year.
plus i wouldnt read too much into the west brom game, i watched the whole game again on LFC TV and when we had 11 men on the pitch we werent bad, granted after agger went off it was a total collapse but up to that point we were quite good. as i was watching it i remember thinking to myself `how the f**k did we lose this 3-0?` we seemed to have the game under control.

for us to be within 10 points it will need suarez to hit 25+ EPL goals.

We will need to hit 70+ goals just to hit the top 4.

good point.
goals will be a sticking point again as we still have failed to address that problem.25+ from suarez isnt going to happen.
fwiw i do think we will sustain a better challenge on 4th this year but fall short unless this guy sahin provides the creativity we so badly need.if he can run our midfield and dictate our tempo while creating chances for the front 3 then we could pull up trees this year.
last season it was creativity and goals that derailed us and now that rodgers has managed to sign sahin i hope its a case of two birds with one stone!.

As it looks now I'll be in shock if we are anywhere near challenging at the end of the season.
To even get 4th we need to be very lucky.
We have extremely few people that can put the ball in the back of the net. Our goalscorer can't hit a barn door certain games.
Our creativness in the final 3rd is pathetic to say the least. Slow and with no penetration.
Ok, it's only been a few games into the season, 1 in the league, but nothing shows a change that we will finish any different than the last few seasons, 6-8th.

Nuri Sahin will be a hit with Liverpool FC fans, says Brendan Rodgers

BRENDAN RODGERS has hailed the loan signing of Nuri Sahin as a major coup for Liverpool FC as he backed the midfielder to swiftly establish himself as a fans’ favourite at Anfield.

The 23-year-old’s season-long move from Real Madrid will be confirmed today once he has completed his medical.

Sahin won’t be involved in tomorrow’s home Premier League clash with Manchester City but could make his debut against Arsenal next Sunday.

The Germany-born Turkey international is looking to reignite his career with Liverpool after a frustrating first year at Madrid following his arrival from Borussia Dortmund.

“Nuri is going to be very important for us,” said Rodgers.

“First and foremost, he’s one who can affect the game going forward.

“He’s a technician who can tactically participate in the game which is important.

“He understands how to control games. He’s dynamic, he’s industrious and he possesses great quality.

"He’s also left footed so he will give us good balance."

“He will come in and make the squad competitive.

“I know he’s going to be a player who the supporters will really take to.

Liverpool, who believed they had lost out to Arsenal in the battle to sign Sahin, moved swiftly to wrap up a deal after talks between the Gunners and Madrid broke down.

Arsenal wanted the option of making the transfer permanent next summer but refused to agree to the Spaniards’ £14million asking price. Liverpool will sign Sahin on loan with no option to buy.

With his £20million transfer kitty having already been spent and no extra cash available, Rodgers has had to look at alternative avenues such as loans to bolster his squad.

And the boss is delighted to acquire the services of Sahin who inspired Dortmund to the Bundesliga title prior to his £8million switch to Madrid on a six-year contract last summer.

“I don’t have the funds so that’s where we are at,” said Rodgers.

“Even the players who have come in already, some of that has had to be generated by the players who have gone out.

“It’s about trying to be as creative as we can to get the best possible players that we can.

“That’s our job. To be relentless to get the best talent here to allow us to compete.”

Sahin broke into the Dortmund side at the age of 16 in 2005 and went on to have a season on loan at Feyenoord before returning to the Bundesliga outfit.

He was hampered by a knee injury in Madrid and only made 10 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side last season.

Meanwhile, Rodgers expects Jose Enrique to be fit for tomorrow’s visit of Man City.

The Spanish left-back has recovered from a knee injury, while Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard, Glen Johnson and Martin Skrtel will all return to the side after being rested for Thursday’s win at Hearts.

Young winger Raheem Sterling has put himself into contention to be involved following his lively full debut at Tynecastle.

“He’s a boy who is evolving and developing really well,” added Rodgers.

“We will have a look at that and see if his qualities and strengths can be used in the game.”

Daniel Agger serves a one-match ban and Joe Cole is out with a hamstring injury.

Andy Carroll will be on the bench if he recovers from the tight hamstring which forced him to sit out the clash with Hearts.

Judging by what Rodgers said about Sahin being first and foremost a player who can affect the game going forward, I’m guessing he will play in front of Allen and Lucus with Gerrard becoming part of the front 3. Good news as far as I’m concerned. The further away Gerrard is from our goal and the closer he is to oppositions the better.

              Skrtel     Agger
Johnson                         Enrique

              Lucas     Allen
                     Sahin

      Gerrard                  Borini
                    Suarez

Not far off, I think it will be Lucas playing solely as a defensive mid (his best position) with Allen and Sahin given license to get forward one at a time.  One covering the other defensively.  I'd also swap Suarez and Borini (actually I'd put Carroll in the middle with Gerrard and Suarez as the wide forwards)

LOL so actually my front six would look nothing like yours.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Ok, we had to pay most of the wages in order to beat Arsenal, but paying 5 mil as well? That's a lot of money we're spending there for a one season loan. Hope it pays off.
Anyway, I'm happy we've signed him. We can get rid of Adam now I guess.
