Anyone that puts over £50k a week in your bank account owns you and the players accept that
when they sign the contracts.

With those kind of numbers they are pawns in a game who can be dealt with any way their
masters see fit.

Well i hope that aint true. brendan considering daniel sturridge if caroll sold in next few days. Hes hardly a goal machine Sturridge will be a huge mistake if that happens. I know nathan dyer is a swansea player but im telling you that kid is gona become much better than sturridge will ever be.

He has a bit of Milan Baros about him - head down and unaware of his options around him

hes good but were desperate for a ruthless goalscorer. Sturridge is not a 20 goal a season type player. But i see where brendan would put him on the right side of the front 3.

did rodgers work with sturridge at chelsea or had he already left to manage watford by that time?

Nevermind Sturridge go to fulham Brendan and get Dembele. Just watched him ring rounds around manshite what a quality player.

Sturridge is talented but incredibly selfish. Dembele is a good shout. Fantastic on the ball. Small reservation about his end product however, based on what I saw of him last season. But I think he has the higher ceiling.

that dembele would be a great signing but i think he`d cost a few bob (and brendan was in the echo today saying we are skint)
at the moment i think we are the last club fulham want to negotiate with anyway, if we enquired about him they`d probably tell us to do one.

Dembele is a midfielder.

A quality midfielder but not a striker unfortunately.

he could definately play in a system like ours though, as one of the wide forwards in a narrow front 3.
anyway according to talksport this morning it seems spurs will buy him (and another player) with the money they are getting for modric.
apparently spurs are ahead of united and chelsea in the race for his signature.

he wouldnt be anywhere near as effective in a front 3 though. No point signing a player and then playing him out of position!

He is a great attacking midfield player and will cost big money before Fulham think about selling!

Well for me Sturridge will never be consistent enough or score emough goals. Be interesting to see how much dembele goes for.
