love this notion that henderson did "f#ck all" last season. a season when he was played out of position for the majority in a side that was hardly setting the world alight.

typical fan view which sums up why england will never win anything. if he's not spraying hollywood balls, diving into tackles or peppering shots from 25 yards people think he isn't contributing. they should actually go and watch the kid play every once in a while.

he'll never get the credit he deserves from some because he's not a "highlights player" as i like to call them. he's not flash, just like multiple league winning carrick and current league champion barry, both of whom hardly scored or made a goal between them last season but were still vital parts of their respective sides.

The side wasn't setting the world alight simply because all the purchases were average mid-table quality, bar Enrique and Bellamy.

But I do agree with you about England never gonna be winning anything though!  :D

Really ? His actions seem to confirm what I'm saying though.

What's the latest inside knowledge ( that turns out to not happen )

I'll let you know when I've spoke to him...  this Saturday as it happens, at his Mams house. It's his birthday and we're all piling up there.

Will he not be in Austria ? ???

Rodgers has a long long way to go yet and I'm still very wary about having him look after everything when there is no proven track record to suggest it will work.

Rodgers ideas and plans could go horribly wrong or they could click - so far we can't judge either way.

Currently he is being judged on what he is saying and at times they are encouraging and very respectful but at times very niave and maybe a bit of arrogance. Let's hope the words are backed up.

The fact you're judging our manager at all (before a ball has even been kicked) speaks volumes Benny.

Are you giving him blind faith ?!

I expect the more sensible people will be a bit wary and Rodgers will be judged every day he is in the job - that's what happens when you become a manager of a top club.

He will be judged by his press conferences, by his signings and ultimately by his results( just like people have done with every single manager )

Or take the words of the player himself when he said he is looking forward to the season with City and hoping to play more games and win more trophies.

Blind faith?  The guy has been in the job a few weeks and you call it blind faith?  We’ve not kicked a ball yet or signed a player...how can you judge him?

You are hilarious Benny...you spent months going on about patience and giving managers time (when Kenny was here) and now you’re questioning our manager while he’s still unpacking his bags.

You’re a walking, talking contradiction.

yep, do that too if thats what you want. was that before Mancini re-signed his contract because I know for a fact he was hoping he would be gone! they don't get along at all.

I remember the first time I mentioned Adam on here, it was when he was still in the under 21's and at Boro, I mention him and no fuk'r had a clue who he was . but anyway, funny how things turn out.

I'm not sure you can comment really unless I reach your levels of judgement towards the manager - when I'm demanding he is sacked and gone then you can come back and say something.

A manager is judged on various elements of his job and yes i will judge him as he goes on.

Not sure exactly what it is you think I'm doing wrong when I'm not slating the manager or slagging him off like you did with Kenny.

Rodgers will certainly get the time from me - you can point out where I have said different. It's posters like you and Heimdall and Tampax will be the first to demand Rodgers is gone - you all have previous and form.

rodgers has made a big call here, it`s natural a few fans will question his decision.
i think the days of liverpool fans giving unquestioning support went out of the window with H&G
as kenny found out there`s no room for sentimentality these days

That was after Mancini had signed his contract - yeah it is funny how things turn out. So far they have gone against everything you have said.

Rodgers will be judged on RESULTS and RESULTS alone.  He's got 2 years for me, unless he takes us down, so won't be calling his head anytime soon.
