if you werent impressed by what rodgers said and how he conducted himself in that interview then there`s something wrong with you (not saying you specifically just making a general point).
he was realistic but optimistic and also showed that he is his own man when he left no one in doubt about his thoughts on working under a DoF.
i found him really, really impressive, it`s early days yet but i think he has really struck a chord with the locals in that press conference, when mourinho impressed all the people down south with his arrogance and `special one` soundbyte i think rodgers has done something similar but obviously in a different way.
there was something inate in mourinho`s character that a lot of southerners related to and i think there is something inate in rodgers character that a lot of scousers will relate and warm to. i really hope this fella succeeds here, he deserves to.
