Newcastle nearly got into a CL spending less than what we paid for Andy Carroll.

Nearly but they didn't

Do you expect them to be up there again or are they last seasons surprise package only to disappear back to mid table like we have seen with plenty of teams before

their squad is better than ours, and cost a fraction of the cost

Their squad played better than us .

Let's see them do it two seasons in a row shall we

They won nothing and will play in the same competitions as us next year

They aren't going to give us a couple hundred million on players purchases

Of course they aren't because it's an unsustainable way to maintain a football club and it goes against the FFP rulings which FSG are hell-bent on adhering too.

That £100 million investment was funded through the sale of players wasnt it?
???

No it wasn't just player sales, it was funded by our sponsorship deals etc and revenue that we make each season.

Jan 2011 was funded by player sales and we broke even, summer 2011 we had a net spend of around 35-40mil, and we spent nothing in Jan 2012. This summer will be interesting.

FSG also bought our club with their OWN MONEY...something H&G never did.

They got the club on the cheap by buying out the purchase debt from RBS.

We are still around 100 odd million in debt currently

FSG also saved our club from going the same way Leeds and Nottingham Forrest went. Supporters might be upset and frustrated with Kenny Dalglish's dismissal but they shouldn't be turning on our owners. They're just doing their best for our club, they may get things wrong, but they ended Boston Red Sox's 80+ year wait for a title and there is absolutely no reason why they can't end our long wait for a league title.

That's manageable and will be cleared off when we get back into the Champions League on a consistent basis again.

I'm supporting our owners in the same way I support our managers and players, if you have a problem with it, that's for you to deal with. FSG have done nothing wrong as of yet. They have to make some difficult choices and sacking Kenny was a difficult choice that I vehemently disgaree with, however I will not try and start a "get them out" campaign. I am confident that these people will get things right and we will thrive under their stewardship.

Yes but so far the hope isnt based on much hence why i was asking Kewell has he even thought of the possiblty that things could get worse from now.

Just because we changed manager doesnt automatically mean instant improvement

You won't be laughing when supporters like yourself force FSG out and we end up with another Hicks and Gillett. They sacked a manager who was a mixed bag and after £100m worth of investment finished in a lower league position than the season before, get over it. I didn't see this kind of out pouring when Rafa was sacked.
